Photo humiliation

I was recently baptized by the embarrassing school photo crowd. I mean, can't we all agree I am MUCH cuter than these shots make me out to be?

Mom's convinced the Teddy Bear Portraits people got after my bangs with one of those damn black combs. (I think she's projecting a past experience.) I gotta admit she's got a point about the uni-brow though. Total lighting fake-out.

She also hasn't forgiven Dad yet for forgetting to tell her it was picture day.
 Fruit jammies? Really?

Santa Parade

Saturday was Milford's Christmas Parade.
These downtown events are kind of old-hat so I knew to rest up before leaving the house.

We met up at Jack's house.

He was looking snappy in his holiday gear.

Me - I opted for the furry boots.
Toasty and fashionable. (Thanks, Denise.)

We watched the dancers prep.

So then I had to speak to Jack about ogling the older ladies.

He understood my concern and promised to keep his eyes on the prize. Me.

The parade was sort of a snooze.
At least my hands were warm.

Mom waved to Santa for me.
Hope it doesn't hurt my chances...

Afterwards, we had a baby party at the house. But, Jack and I only had eyes for each other. A better visit this time. So I let him eat my hand.

Ahhhh - friends.

Thanks for the fun

My first Turkey Day was fun, fun, fun...

I did some bouncing.

Hung out with the guys.

Participated in the obligatory game watching. (Go Pack Go!)

Flying.

Laughing (brought on by Aunt Colleen's tickles).

 Hand-chewing (with Uncle Joe).

And napping. In Grandma Katie's arms.

I sure have a lot to be thankful for!

Missing home

My up north family made this for us. We love it! And missed them during the holiday.

(Photos of our celebration to come.)

Giving thanks

Happy Thanksgiving to family and friends, near and far.

I am so fortunate to be loved by so many.

I am thankful for you.

(And so are Mom and Dad.)

Bad date

My pal Jack came over on Sunday. Our first real date didn't go so hot. Mom says I need to work on my skills. (Dad thinks I've got the right idea - at least until I'm 18.) Me - I think he needs to work on his game!

Started off good. We held hands.

But soon, his charm wore off.

So, I decided to take a snooze and leave him to his own devices.

Better luck next time, Don Juan.
