Approaching equinox

In preparation for this weekend's fall equinox, I updated our Spurgeon Subway Art.

Subject to change as autumn progresses.
Next up? Halloween.

Hello weekend

Now that Renegade is over, Mom is back to focusing on her #1 priority. Me. And taking photos of me. All of us are loving the cooler weather, which equals fewer pesky buzzing skeeters and more time outdoors.

Enjoying the bird feeder.

 Getting intimate with fall foliage.

 And having heart-to-hearts with Dad.

Yep - life is good.
Happy weekend.

These boots are made for walkin'

In case you missed my Facebook post, check out M's new skill - mastered while I was in Chicago peddling canine accessories.  (Although she'd been taking 3-4 steps at a time, she wasn't confidently stringing them together.)

I like to think she practiced while I was gone so she'd have something to show me when I got back. (Rather than thinking I missed a milestone moment.)

Renegade Chicago was awesome. I had a great time and sold a lot of stuff. Watch for a wrap-up in the coming days...

Going it alone

Renegade Chicago, here I come. Alone.
Wish me luck. On selling. And not having a missing-Maizey-associated-meltdown.

I spent some time this morning finishing up last minute tasks. Like sewing.
Hopefully I'll get out of here before six.

Just like Mom

Maizey's new favorite activity is marching into the office (assisted by Mom's hand, of course), over to the computer chair, patting it and forcefully demanding, "UP!"

On weak days, I scoop her up, set her on the seat, scoot her in and let her pound away on the keyboard. Yesterday was one of those days.

I pulled up this shot, though, and it really gave her pause.
There was a lot of pointing and laughing.

Girlfriend loves her Grandma.
(And Grandma loves airport freebies en route to Alaska.)

Buh Bye

Have fun in Alaska, Gram and Gramps!
I'll miss you!
