First, I got to meet my Auntie Karyn. She's been mentioned a lot on this blog - most recently for sending us deep dish pizza from her hometown - Chicago. She brought me some rockin' Halloween gear and entertained Mom for a couple hours. It was awesome. I can't wait to meet this kid of hers - Charlie. He's tall, blonde, eats food and can walk. What a catch! I wanted to impress her so I showcased my second best talent - sleeping. (Eating's number one but Mom wanted to keep her boob in her shirt. Boo.)
Then, on Sunday morning I took my first trip to Kensington Metro Park. Mom and I walked the trail while Dad, my brothers, Grandpa Bill and Gemma ran the loop. We went about 5 miles. They went over 8 - enough to make Dad's nipple bleed. Now he's just like Mom! She's happy to have someone to commiserate with.
Next weekend we're going to Lake City, Bay Harbor and then Escanaba! Whew!
