Day Three - Sunday, July 31

Day Three... by Maisey

Mom woke up and panicked. She couldn't find Dad and me. No need to worry though. We were just hanging out, having some skin time and enjoying the morning.

I hung out with my best bud, Nannah Kip.

Nobody can accuse me of having my eyes wide shut!

I got some sun time with the zucchini.

Mom and I did some pruning.

Dad checked up on Owen, who's at summer camp with Grandma Katie.

Then one of my favorite people came by to see me, my doula Deb, who prepared Mom and Dad for labor, delivery and parenthood. And held Mom's feet while she pushed. Not to mention took great photos. I'll probably never get to see them for fear of the trauma they'd cause, but my olds love them.

After that, Mom needed a nap so Dad and I rocked out in the Moby wrap from Shari and Tony
and took Nannah Kip for a walk.

I rocked my new cloth diapers too. Mom says I'll grow into them. Hope so!

Another long day. It's hard work being loved on all the time.
(And Kip says it's hard work protecting a newborn sassy lady!)
