Day Five . . . by Maisey
First, I helped Dad do some work.
Then, Dad left on his first field trip - to get a haircut and visit Elephant Ears, where he would buy our "real" stroller, travel crib and high chair. That left Mom and I alone. She decided to test out the Moby Wrap. After a few repositions, we got the hang of it.
Two hours later, Dad was back. Mom and I survived and I got a whole bunch of stuff!
Alas, poor Dad had another piece of Maisey gear to assemble.
This time he decided to read the instructions.

Good thing, too - he was using the wrong seat. But with the right seat,
it just took some finagling.
it just took some finagling.
And some more finagling.
And a titch more finagling. (Mom and I just supervised.)
But he finally got it!
So Kip and I took Mom and Dad for a walk.
We went by Mom's favorite sew and vac store. Unfortunately, the vacuum genius wasn't available. I want to get started early on my career aspirations.
Then we went to the Milford House Ice Cream shop.
Mom was really excited to get herself some blue moon.

But I think she was more excited to show me off.
Which can really exhaust a girl! So of course, I rested.
I mean, I need to save up my energy for my one-week birthday!
