7 months, 1 week, 4 days. My first 5K.
Of course, my eyes are closed. The perils of the random pedestrian photographer. Milestone moment, ruined.

Moving on...
What about Mom's pants?
And my hat-over-the-hat sitch.
But really, they were nothing compared to this guy's get-up.
Oh, the characters we meet.
On to the race... ready.
Seriously set.
GO!
We started at the back. Made for rough going. 8,000 runners are a lot to weave around with our new jogging stroller.
Rounding the barbell.
A true out and back.
The Spurgeon boys ran me in.
i LOVED it!
All of it.
All 36:35 minutes of it. And hey - I'm #1. (Or 8. Or 5654.)
What else? Well Mom loved that she could drink the beer this year.
And when she's happy, I'm happy.
The race, followed by beer, followed by the Woodbridge Pub (in Uncle Paul's hood).

A darn near perfect day.
Can't wait until next year.
Slainte!
