Bargain baby

Last weekend Will and Maizey accompanied me on my second-ever mom2mom sale excursion. Wild and wooley, these events are not for the faint of heart. But, there is no better place for bargains. Although only my second rodeo, I've developed a system. Walk the sale - the whole sale - be it 20 or 200 tables. First, look for sellers whose clothes you'd want to borrow. The clothes they are currently wearing. Find one? Now look at their table. Faded merchandise (most likely from 30 plus washes)? Move on. Vibrant hues? Make a mental note to return. Once you've scoped the whole sale, go back to your matches and shop, shop, shop. Here are our grabs (totaling $50) from last weekend...

Maizey helped with the shoot.

So these are from BuyBuyBaby...
Not the Mom2Mom.

But I got them last weekend too. My new online shopping obsession  is ittikid, a place that hawks Scandinavian-designed children's clothing.  I can't get enough of the bold, bright prints. But I only browse and drool. What I can't do (or haven't done yet) is actually purchase a $30 onesie. So, you can imagine my delight in finding these $8 knock-offs (they sorta have that Scandinavian-vibe, right?) at a big box. Yay for bargains!

(in an upcoming post I'll let you know my other fave kids clothing brands and online shops - so fun to browse)
