...let me see that pumpkin roll...
Saturday was the neighbor's annual Pumpkin Roll, and our second. You may remember last year? This year's invite went like this:
Pumpkin roll competition starting around 5:00. Scarecrow smash (with new improved run) starting around 6:30. NEW CATEGORY: FAN FAVORITE. Email me if you'd like the traditional rules for scarecrow smash. Bonfire afterwards with time for the kids to run around and play games in the dark like "ghost in the graveyard" (don't forget to bring your flashlights/lanterns etc.). As usual it will be a potluck. It's always fun to have Halloween themed dishes so get your ghoulish thinking caps on. BYOB or drinks. Sean and Candy will have apple cider (with Captain Morgan) and coffee.

Maizey was much more participatory than last year.
Even if she was still on the small side.
Unfortunately, we didn't get nearly the same quality/quantity of shots as last year -
but I had my hands full...
As did Jaclyn.
But, Dad was there to help.
As was Grandma Betty!
She even took time to point out the moon.
