Yesterday we did a family field trip to Potter Park Zoo in Lansing. Dad took the reins and engaged in all the fun stuff. It was nice for me to get a break and watch the man I love so involved in our daughter's life. (Not to mention her insistence on showing off for him - SO independent when Dad's around!) I am a lucky mom and Maizey is a lucky daughter.
