Ceviche safety

It's a go. I got Will liquored up and convinced him a babymoon was brilliant. Now I just have to convince my new midwife that ceviche isn't rrreeeaaalllly raw fish.

Here is the description of our destination, which we'll be visiting mid-February:

"Verana was built on a hillside overlooking the ocean, with a panoramic view of the mountains – deep in the Valle del Sierra Madre Occidental. Carved out of the lush Mexican jungle, it is remote and secluded.

Each of the nine houses was designed with its own character and feel to blend with the landscape and environment. The houses have their own gardens and terraces for privacy, but are still close enough so you don’t feel all alone in the jungle.

In Yelapa, the nearby village, there are no roads and no cars. Everything is done by boat, mule or foot. Yelapa is a small village with a few good restaurants, grocery stores, a lively beach and dancing at the Yacht Club on Saturday nights.

During the day, there is a lot to do: whale-watching, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking...visit the village or hike to Cathedral Falls...or just relax, spoil yourself at the spa, read, jump in the pool and enjoy the jungle around you."
