On the renovation front...Will and I found a builder (one of the original quoters) who is willing to work with us on a phased/scaled-down version of the renovation. We scrapped the master-bath reconfiguration but are moving forward with the bedroom and jack/jill bath addition. In an effort to save some cash, we are also going to attempt to do some of the finishing work ourselves (or more likely, source our own subcontractors - like B&B painting). Start date? Around October 20... Expected completion date? March 1...
Anxiety.
The reno work will occupy about half of our house, including Maizey's room and the guest room/office, as well as our living room. Soooo - though we could all bunk in one bedroom and recreate in the kitchen, we think it might be wise to source alternative accommodation. AKA - a rental. Add it to the list.
At least I have an idea board started for the bath, right?
Truly a work in progress. Flying by the seat of our pants. Etc. etc. etc.
And as an aside - yes, I am still angry with our architect.
