Grandma Betty came for a fabulous visit Thursday-Monday. Saturday was the Milford Community Picnic in Central Park. We checked it out, Spurgeon-style.
There were kids-galore so I wanted to explore -
as long as Mom stayed close. (My new obsession/addiction = M.O.M.)
Some of the hula hoopers were pulling some tricky moves,
that neither of us were too sure about.
So we headed over to the big-kids bounce house,
which cleared out for me and my new under-two friend.
Mom made Dad keep a close watch though,
since the big kids came back and bounced me around like a popcorn kernel. I didn't mind. Mom did.
So, we headed off for some milder pursuits.
The sand below the swings.
Where I met another new friend.
She was called away by her Papa though.
So Gram took me to our old haunt.
The playground (where we spent two hours on Friday).
She's so helpful. Always has my back. Or bum.
And then I charge away from her.
To the bus stop.
She doesn't mind though.
Just keeps a close watch.
Maybe next year,
we'll stay for the movie.
