Happy Birthday, G-Ma!

My Grandma and I share a birthday. I'm 10 weeks old. She is 63 years young.
Happy Birthday, Grandma!

I love her and miss her very much.

OUCH!

Yesterday was a rough one. Started off fine - I went to the YMCA and hung out with the other kids there while mom took a class. I had a bath. I went to see my new doctor.

They weighed me. On a real baby scale. Chunkin' up - nearly 12 lbs. Puts me at the 70th percentile. (I'm also 23" tall - 75th percentile, and my head is 15.75" - also the 75th percentile. Above average but not obnoxiously so. Subtle. That's me.)

Dad joined us. I was happy to see him - of course - and did some jumping.

And then, out of nowhere, they stuck me! Twice! The nerve?! To show them how I felt, I cried like I never cried before. It worked. Mom cried too.

So Dad took over and walked me out of that awful place.

I have been above average following the appointment as well - exhibiting not one, but two of the vaccine reactions. I'm sleepy (reaction) and when I'm not sleeping, I'm fussing (reaction). It's hard on all of us but at least now Mom and Dad know what a good baby I am normally!

Smiles with Dad

I love my dad. He makes me smile. A lot.

But today he's taking me to get my first shots. So eat up these smiles. Might not see them for awhile. *sigh*

Welcome Leah

Remember our visit to see soon-to-be-big-sister Ruby? And Mama Maria? Well, we're happy to report that little sis' Leah Geraldine made her entrance into the world on September 20 at 9:15 a.m. Mom just got done reading Maria and Leah's birth story - holy cow! She says I can't hear it. Nightmares... But I can't wait to gossip about the little one with Ruby.
Ahhhh - newborns. I remember when I was one.

Last weekend

Last Saturday was busy busy. So busy that I slept ALL day on Sunday. Mom was sad I chose to tank up on my snoozing when Dad was around to help. But I think it was nice of me. They got to hang out without passing the baby.

In the morning, we went for a walk. Then, drove to Buffalo Wild Wings in Howell to watch football with Auntie Kerri.

She's the one who bought me my snappy green and white shirt, which I paired with my new cargo jeggings. Sassy, right?

So sassy that I had suitors lining up! Like this little guy. I didn't catch his name but yep - he loved me.

Then, at night we went to Grandpa and Grandma Spurgeon's house in Royal Oak. We were celebrating Grandma Katie's birthday. Everyone was there.

Grandma Katie.

Grandpa Bill and Aunt Jane.

Uncle Joe - who bought me my UM hoodie.

And cousin Nikki, who put me to sleep like a champ.

Two months

Today is my two month birthday! Mom can't believe it's already been two months, but at the same time can barely remember life without me around. She also can't get over how much I've grown. What can I say? I'm enlarging. Like daughter like mother...
